Ponvory (ponesimod) is a sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor modulator used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting disease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• fever,
• shortness of breath,
• dizziness,
• upper respiratory tract infection,
• cough,
• drowsiness,
• urinary tract infection (UTI),
• high blood pressure (hypertension),
• spinning sensation (vertigo)
• liver transaminase elevation,
• pain in extremity,
• increased C-reactive protein,
• high cholesterol, and
