Zemdri (plazomicin injection, for intravenous use)

Zemdri (plazomicin) is an aminoglycoside antibacterial indicated for the treatment of patients 18 years of age or older with complicated Urinary Tract Infections (cUTI) including Pyelonephritis.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- lightheadedness,
- dizziness,
- hearing loss,
- shortness of breath
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- severe stomach pain,
- spinning sensation,
- diarrhea that is watery or bloody (even if it occurs months after your last dose),
- muscle weakness,
- little or no urination,
- tiredness, and
- swelling in your feet or ankles,
- buzzing or roaring sound in your ears (during or after treatment),

- Levaquin (levofloxacin)
- Macrobid (nitrofurantoin)
- Macrodantin (nitrofurantoin macrocystals capsule)
- Septra (trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole)
