Wakix (pitolisant tablets)

Wakix (pitolisant) is a histamine-3 (H3) receptor antagonist/inverse agonist indicated for the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) in adult patients with narcolepsy.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • mood changes,
  • fast or irregular heartbeat,
  • severe dizziness
  • severe dizziness,
  • fainting, and
The following drugs are related to Wakix, either as a replacement or used together:
  • Nuvigil (armodafinil)
  • Strattera (atomoxetine hcl)
  • Xywav (calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium oxybates oral solution)
  • Cylert (pemoline)
  • Tofranil (imipramine)
  • Lumryz (sodium oxybate for extended-release oral suspension)
  • Provigil (modafinil)
