Zypitamag (pitavastatin tablets for oral use)

Zypitamag (pitavastatin) tablets are an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor indicated for patients with primary hyperlipidemia or mixed dyslipidemia as an adjunctive therapy to diet to reduce elevated total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), apolipoprotein B (Apo B), triglycerides (TG), and to increase high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C).

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • loss of appetite,
  • dark urine,
  • clay-colored stools, and
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
  • vomiting,
  • confusion,
  • tiredness,
  • swelling,
  • stomach pain (upper right side),
  • rapid weight gain,
  • little or no urinating,
  • pain in your side or lower back,
  • muscle weakness in your hips, shoulders, neck, and back,
  • trouble lifting your arms,
  • trouble climbing or standing,

  • Atorvaliq (atorvastatin)
  • Evkeeza (evinacumab-dgn for injection)
  • Ezallor (rosuvastatin calcium tablets)
