Phenytek Extended Release Capsule (phenytoin sodium)

Phenytek (extended phenytoin sodium capsule) is an antiepileptic drug indicated for the control of generalized tonic-clonic (grand mal) and psychomotor (temporal lobe) seizures and prevention and treatment of seizures occurring during or following neurosurgery.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- vomiting,
- rash, and
- constipation,
- tremor,
- nervousness,
- confusion,
- trouble sleeping,
- slurred speech,
- problems with walking and coordination,
- thinning bones (osteoporosis).
