Vazculep (phenylephrine hydrochloride) Injection is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist used for the treatment of clinically important hypotension resulting primarily from vasodilation in the setting of anesthesia.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• vomiting,
• dizziness,
• blurred vision,
• headache,
• fainting,
• nervousness,
• pounding in the ears,
• sweating,
• chest pain or pressure,
• fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat,
• tightness in the chest, and
• unusual tiredness
• pain in the shoulders, arms, jaw, or neck,
