Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate)

Qsymia (phentermine and topiramate extended-release) is a combination appetite suppressant/stimulant and seizure medication indicated as an adjunct to a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity for chronic weight management in overweight and obese adults.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- palpitations,
- dizziness,
- blurred vision,
- indigestion,
- diarrhea,
- cough,
- runny or stuffy nose,
- constipation,
- loss of appetite,
- dry mouth,
- trouble sleeping (insomnia),
- tiredness,
- depression,
- rash,
- confusion,
- stomach pain or upset,
- anxiety,
- back pain,
- muscle pain,
- flu symptoms,
- fatigue,
- numbness or tingly feeling,
- hair loss,
- irritability,
- urinary tract infection,
- dry eyes,
- sinus infection,
- upper respiratory tract infection,
- muscle spasms,
- changes in menstrual periods,
- pain in extremities,
- eye pain,
- bronchitis,
- mood changes such as depression,
- altered sense of taste,
- unpleasant taste in your mouth,
- thirst,
- neck pain, or
- problems with concentration, attention, memory or speech.
