Talwin Nx (pentazocine and naloxone)

Talwin Nx (pentazocine hydrochloride and naloxone hydrochloride) is a combination of a narcotic pain reliever (opiate-type) and an opioid antagonist used to treat moderate to severe pain.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- dizziness,
- seizure,
- diarrhea
- sweating,
- agitation,
- shivering,
- sore throat,
- skin pain,
- hallucinations,
- unusual thoughts or behavior,
- fast heart rate,
- weak or shallow breathing,
- burning in your eyes,
- severe skin reaction,
- severe weakness,
- red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling,
- blue colored lips,
- muscle stiffness,
- loss of coordination, and
- severe constipation,
- slow breathing with long pauses,
- worsening tiredness or weakness,
- drowsiness.
