Talacen (pentazocine and acetaminophen) is a pain medication used to treat mild to moderate pain. Talacen is available in generic form.

- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- confusion,
- fainting,
- agitation,
- sore throat,
- mood changes,

- severe dizziness

- slow or shallow breathing,

- changes in the amount of urine,
