Pentacel (tetanus toxoid conjugate)

Pentacel (tetanus toxoid conjugate) Diphtheria, Haemophilus Influenzae, Pertussis, Tetanus, and Polio Vaccine is used to prevent these diseases in children ages 6 weeks to 4 years.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• severe dizziness
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and

• Infanrix Hexa (combined diphtheria, tetanus toxoids, acellular pertussis, hepatitis b, inactivated poliomyelitis, adsorbed conjugated haemophilus influenzae)
• Vaxelis (diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and acellular pertussis adsorbed, inactivated poliovirus, haemophilus b conjugate [meningococcal protein conjugate] and hepatitis b [recombinant] vaccine)
