TriLyte (peg-3350, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride)

TriLyte (PEG-3350, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride for oral solution) is a laxative solution that also contains potassium, sodium, and other minerals to replace electrolytes that are passed from the body in the stool used to clean the bowel before colonoscopy, a barium X-ray, or other intestinal procedures. TriLyte is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- bloating,
- gas, or
- feelings of fullness in the stomach or abdomen

- Dulcolax (bisacodyl suppositories)
