Pertzye (pancrelipase)
type of Pancreatic/Digestive Enzymes
Pertzye (lipase, protease and amylase) is a combination of enzymes indicated for the treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency due to cystic fibrosis or other conditions.
The drug is often used to treat Cystic fibrosis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- gas
- diarrhea
- upset stomach
- abdominal pain
- indigestion
- irritation of the inside of the mouth
- increased uric acid levels in the blood
- cough, and
- allergic reactions (trouble breathing, skin rash, itching, or swollen
lips)
