Vonjo (pacritinib capsules)
type of Antineoplastic Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors
Vonjo (pacritinib) is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of adults with intermediate or high-risk primary or secondary (post-polycythemia vera or post-essential thrombocythemia) myelofibrosis with a platelet count below 50 × 109/L.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- lightheadedness,
- sore throat
- diarrhea,
- chest pain or pressure,
- cold sweat,
- fever, and
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- easy bruising,
- confusion,
- severe dizziness,
- fatigue,
- fluttering in your chest,
- lack of coordination,
- difficulty speaking,
- any bleeding that will not stop.
- unusual bleeding,
- fainting,
- rapid or irregular heartbeats,
- wheezing,
- tightness or pain in the chest that may spread to your neck, jaw or back,
- sudden numbness or weakness in an arm or leg (especially on one side of the body),
- difficulty understanding speech,
- sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes,
- sudden trouble walking,
- loss of balance,
- pain, warmth, or swelling in one leg,
- change in your mental state,
- a growth or lump on your skin,
