Xepi (ozenoxacin) Cream is a quinolone antimicrobial indicated for the topical treatment of impetigo due to Staphylococcus aureus or Streptococcus pyogenes in adult and pediatric patients 2 months of age and older.
The drug is often used to treat Impetigo .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- redness of the skin,
- warmth or swelling of the skin, and
- oozing from the skin
The following drugs are related to Xepi, either as a replacement or used together:
- Amoxil (amoxicillin)
- Cefadroxil (cefadroxil hemihydrate)
