Terramycin (oxytetracycline intramuscular solution) is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. The brand name drug Terramycin is no longer available in the U.S., but generic versions may still be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nausea,
• vomiting,
• diarrhea,
• loss of appetite,
• rash,
• swelling,
• hives, 
• anemia.
• stomach upset,
• difficulty swallowing,
• swollen tongue,
• sensitivity to sunlight,
• irritation at the injection site,
• serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis), and
