Targiniq ER (oxycodone hydrochloride and naloxone hydrochloride) Extended Release is a combination of an opioid agonist and an opioid antagonist used for the management of pain severe enough to require daily, around-the-clock, long-term opioid treatment and for which alternative treatment options are inadequate.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• loss of appetite,
• vomiting,
• fever,
• lightheadedness,
• confusion,
• severe drowsiness,
• chest pain,
• dizziness,
• diarrhea
• sweating,
• weakness,
• agitation,
• shivering,
• shallow breathing,
• seizures,
• loss of interest in sex,
• impotence,
• hallucinations,
• twitching,
• fast or slow heartbeats,
• muscle stiffness,
• loss of coordination, and
• missed menstrual periods,
• worsening tiredness,
• cold or clammy skin,
