Osphena (ospemifene tablets)

Osphena (ospemifene) is an estrogen agonist/antagonist prescribed for painful intercourse (dyspareunia), which is a symptom of vulvar and vagina muscular wasting (vaginal atrophy), due to menopause.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• itching,
• rash,
• shortness of breath,
• confusion,
• rapid breathing,
• fainting,
• unusual sweating,
• weakness on one side of the body,
• trouble breathing
• sudden dizziness,
• trouble speaking,
• swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, and
• chest, jaw, and left arm pain,
• sudden vision changes,
• sudden severe headaches,
• pain, swelling or warmth in growing or calf,
