Omeclamox-Pak (omeprazole delayed-release capsules)

Omeclamox-Pak (omeprazole delayed-release capsules 20 mg, clarithromycin tablets 500 mg, and amoxicillin capsules 500 mg) is a combination of a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), a macrolide antimicrobial, and a penicillin antibiotic, indicated for the treatment of patients with Helicobacter pylori infection and duodenal ulcer disease (active or up to one-year history) to eradicate H. pylori.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • upper stomach pain,
  • loss of appetite,
  • itching,
  • dark urine,
  • fever,
  • shortness of breath,
  • yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • swelling,
  • sore throat,
  • burning eyes,
  • skin pain,
  • red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling,
  • severe stomach pain,
  • rapid weight gain,
  • fast or pounding heartbeats,
  • sudden dizziness,
  • diarrhea that is watery or bloody,
  • urinating more or less than usual,
  • blood in your urine,
  • joint pain, and
  • skin rash on your cheeks or arms that worsens in sunlight

  • Nexium (esomeprazole magnesium)
  • Nexium I.V. (esomeprazole sodium)
  • Vytorin (ezetimibe and simvastatin)
  • Prilosec (omeprazole)
  • Zegerid (omeprazole, sodium bicarbonate)
  • Voquezna (vonoprazan; amoxicillin; clarithromycin / vonoprazan; amoxicillin)
