Olysio (simeprevir) is a protease inhibitor used to treat chronic hepatitis C (CHC) infection as a component of a combination antiviral treatment regimen.

The drug is often used to treat Hepatitis C .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• muscle pain, and
• shortness of breath
• increased sensitivity to sun,
