Pataday (olopatadine hydrochloride ophthalmic solution) is an antihistamine used to treat ocular (eye) symptoms of allergic conditions, such as inflammation, itching, watering, and burning.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• crusting or drainage from the eye
• eye swelling,
• severe burning, stinging, or irritation after using the medicine,
• redness or severe discomfort of the eye, and
