Patanol (olopatadine)
type of Antihistamines, Ophthalmic
Patanol (olopatadine hydrochloride ophthalmic solution) 0.1 % is an antihistamine used to treat ocular (eye) symptoms of allergic conditions, such as inflammation, itching, watering, and burning.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- crusting or drainage from the eye
- eye swelling,
- severe burning, stinging, or irritation after using the medicine,
- redness of the eye,
- severe discomfort, and
The following drugs are related to Patanol, either as a replacement or used together:
- Pazeo (olopatadine hydrochloride ophthalmic solution)
- Polytrim (polymyxin b sulfate and trimethoprim ophthalmic solution, usp, sterile)
