Octaplas, Pooled Plasma (human) is a solvent/detergent (S/D) treated, pooled human plasma used for replacement of multiple coagulation factors in patients with acquired deficiencies due to liver disease, undergoing cardiac surgery, or liver transplant; and for plasma exchange in patients with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP).

The drug is often used to treat Liver disease .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, and
• dizziness

• Advate ([antihemophilic factor (recombinant), plasma/albumin-free method] for intravenous injection)
• Feiba (anti-inhibitor coagulant complex for intravenous use)
