Nutropin AQ (rDNA origin) Injection is a form of human growth hormone used to treat growth failure in children and adults who lack natural growth hormone, and in those with chronic kidney failure, Noonan syndrome, Turner syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, short stature at birth with no catch-up growth, and other causes. It is also used to prevent severe weight loss in people with AIDS, or to treat short bowel syndrome.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- vomiting,
- shortness of breath,
- weight loss,
- dizziness,
- vision problems,
- weakness, and
- dry mouth,
- coughing,
- increased thirst,
- increased urination,
- fruity breath odor,
- ringing in your ears,
- tiredness
- extreme weakness,
- severe headaches,
- severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
- severe dizziness,
- ear pain,
- pain behind your eyes,
- unusual headaches,
- changes in skin color,
- walking with a limp,
- new or increased snoring,
- pain in your knees or hips,
- swelling or warmth of your ear,
- drainage from your ear,
- numbness or tingling in your wrist, hand or fingers,
- severe swelling or puffiness in your hands and feet,
- changes in your behavior,
- changes in the shape or size of a mole,
- pain or swelling in your joints,
