NuLytely (polyethylene glycol 3350, sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and potassium chloride) for Oral Solution is a combination a laxative and electrolytes used for bowel cleansing prior to colonoscopy and barium enema X-ray examination in adults. NuLytely is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea
- vomiting
- bloating
- abdominal cramps
- abdominal or stomach fullness
- anal/rectal irritation, and
- rarely, allergic reactions (hives, runny nose, skin rash and itching)
