Nucynta ER (tapentadol extended-release film-coated tablets)

Nucynta ER (tapentadol) is a mu-opioid receptor agonist indicated for the management of moderate to severe chronic pain in adults when a continuous, around-the-clock opioid analgesic is needed for an extended period of time.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- severe drowsiness,
- dizziness,
- seizure,
- diarrhea
- sweating,
- weakness,
- noisy breathing,
- agitation,
- shivering,
- shallow breathing,
- loss of interest in sex,
- impotence,
- hallucinations,
- twitching,
- fast heart rate,
- blue colored lips,
- muscle stiffness,
- loss of coordination, and
- missed menstrual periods,
- slow breathing with long pauses,
- sighing,
- breathing that stops during sleep,
- worsening tiredness,
- sexual problems,
- feeling hot,
- problems with speech or balance,
- infertility,
