Nucynta (tapentadol extended-release film-coated tablets)

Nucynta (tapentadol) immediate release oral tablets is an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) indicated for the relief of moderate to severe acute pain in patients 18 years of age or older.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- vomiting,
- fever,
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- severe drowsiness,
- dizziness,
- seizure,
- diarrhea
- sweating,
- weakness,
- noisy breathing,
- agitation,
- shivering,
- shallow breathing,
- loss of interest in sex,
- impotence,
- hallucinations,
- twitching,
- fast heart rate,
- blue colored lips,
- muscle stiffness,
- loss of coordination, and
- missed menstrual periods,
- slow breathing with long pauses,
- sighing,
- breathing that stops during sleep,
- worsening tiredness,
- sexual problems,
- feeling hot,
- problems with speech or balance,
- infertility,
