NP Thyroid (thyroid tablets) is a natural preparation derived from porcine thyroid glands indicated to treat hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormone) and to treat or prevent goiter (enlarged thyroid gland), and in the management of thyroid cancer.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• nervousness,
• hair loss,
• tremor,
• muscle pain,
• diarrhea, and
• cramps
• fast or irregular heartbeats,
