Norvir Soft Gelatin Capsules (ritonavir)

Norvir (ritonavir) soft gelatin capsules, soft gelatin for oral use is an HIV protease inhibitor indicated in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 infection. Norvir is available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat HIV .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- loss of appetite,
- dark urine,
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fever,
- swollen glands,
- night sweats,
- easy bruising,
- lightheadedness,
- weight loss,
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice),
- dry mouth,
- wheezing,
- sweating,
- weakness,
- cough,
- sore throat,
- burning eyes,
- skin pain,
- increased thirst,
- increased urination,
- fruity breath odor,
- menstrual changes, and
- painful or difficult urination,
- mouth sores,
- irregular heartbeats,
- fast or pounding heartbeats,
- skin sores,
- hunger,
- unusual bleeding (nose, mouth, vagina, or rectum),
- purple or red pinpoint spots under your skin,
- blood in your urine,
- cold sores,
- trouble speaking or swallowing,
- problems with balance or eye movement,
- swelling in your neck or throat (enlarged thyroid),
- impotence
- prickly feeling,
- pain in your side or lower back,
- upper stomach pain (that may spread to your back),
- red or purple skin rash with blistering and feeling,
