This drug may have the following side effects:

- blurred vision,
- constipation,
- dry mouth,
- headache,
- fatigue,
- sweating,
- weakness,
- agitation,
- restlessness,
- flushing,
- anxiety,
- insomnia,
- fast heart rate,
- tremors,
- palpitations,
- abdominal cramps,
- changes in sex drive,
- breast enlargement,
- ringing in the ears (tinnitus),
- weight gain or loss,
- urinary retention or urinary frequency,
- confusion (especially in the elderly),
- numbness or tingling of extremities,
- strange taste in the mouth,
- high blood pressure, and
- low blood pressure on standing (orthostatic hypotension).
