Previfem (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol kit) is a combined oral contraceptive (COC) indicated for use by females of reproductive potential to prevent pregnancy.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- gas (flatulence),
- rash.
- irregular uterine bleeding,
- abdominal/gastrointestinal pain,
- vaginal infection,
- mood disorders (including depression and altered mood),
- nervousness, and
- breast issues (including breast pain, tenderness, discharge, and enlargement) headache/migraine,
- genital discharge
