Nitro-Dur (nitroglycerin)

Nitro-Dur (nitroglycerin) transdermal is a nitrate used to prevent attacks of chest pain (angina). Nitro-Dur is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • headache
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • lightheadedness
  • dizziness
  • upset stomach
  • weakness
  • nervousness
  • flushing (warmth, redness, or tingly feeling under your skin)
  • skin rash or itching as your body adjusts to this medication
