Procardia (nifedipine)

Procardia (nifedipine) is a calcium channel blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and to treat angina (chest pain). Procardia is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- headache,
- dizziness,
- diarrhea,
- weakness,
- sleep problems (insomnia),
- constipation,
- joint pain,
- stomach pain,
- drowsiness,
- leg cramps,
- tired feeling,
- rash or itching,
- swelling ankles/feet,
- urinating more than usual, or
- flushing (warmth/redness/tingly feeling under your skin).
