Neupro (rotigotine transdermal system) is a non-ergoline dopamine agonist used to treat early signs and symptoms of Parkinson's disease. The brand name Neupro is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• lightheadedness,
• confusion,
• fainting,
• sweating,
• agitation,
• mood changes,
• depression,
• hallucinations,
• severe dizziness,
• unusual weight gain,
• fast heartbeat, and
• swelling ankles or feet,
• unusual strong urges (increased gambling, increased sexual urges),
• new or worsening uncontrolled movements
