Prostigmin (neostigmine)

Prostigmin (neostigmine) is an anticholinesterase agent used to treat the symptoms of myasthenia gravis. Prostigmin may be available in generic form.
The drug is often used to treat Myasthenia gravis .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- itching,
- rash,
- shortness of breath,
- dizziness,
- headache,
- seizures,
- severe dizziness, and
- trouble breathing
- swelling of the face, tongue, or throat,
- new or increased difficulty swallowing,
- new or increased muscle cramps, weakness, or twitching,
- slow, fast or irregular heartbeat,
