Natpara (parathyroid hormone) for Injection is a parathyroid hormone used as an adjunct to calcium and vitamin D to control hypocalcemia in patients with hypoparathyroidism.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• headache
• nausea
• diarrhea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• joint pain
• sinus infection
• pain in extremities
• tingling/burning/prickling sensation of your skin
• high or low blood calcium levels
• reduced sensitivity to sensory stimuli or reduced sense of touch
• elevated calcium in the urine
•  upper respiratory tract infection
• high blood pressure, or
  
• neck pain

• Calciferol (ergocalciferol)
• Calcijex Injection (calcitrol)
• Rocaltrol (calcitriol)
