Tysabri (natalizumab)
type of Inflammatory Bowel Disease Agents, Monoclonal Antibodies, Integrin Blockers
Tysabri (natalizumab) is a monoclonal antibody used in to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis. Tysabri is also used to treat moderate to severe Crohn's disease in adults. Tysabri is usually given after other Crohn's disease medications have been tried without successful treatment of this condition.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- nausea,
- upper stomach pain,
- loss of appetite,
- itching,
- dark urine,
- clay-colored stools, and
- yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
- lightheadedness,
- confusion,
- chills,
- tiredness,
- chest pain,
- dizziness,
- severe headache,
- wheezing,
- vision changes,
- eye pain,
- memory problems,
- pain or burning when urinating,
- redness of the eye,
- cough with yellow or green mucus,
- sudden fever,
- cold,
- weakness on one side of your body,
- changes in your mental state,
- sweaty,
- problems with your speech or walking,
- trouble using your arms and legs,
