Revex (nalmefene hydrochloride injection) is an opioid antagonist used to treat a narcotic overdose or other situation in which opioid side effects may be harmful. The brand name Revex is discontinued, but generic versions may be available.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• fever,
• chills,
• dizziness,
• headache, and
• fast heart rate,
• low or high blood pressure,
• flushing, or feeling of warmth

• Narcan Nasal (naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray)
