Nafcillin Injection (nafcillin sodium)

Nafcillin (Brand Names: Nallpen, Unipen) is an antibiotic in the penicillin group of drugs used to treat many different types of infections, especially those caused by staphylococcus bacteria ("staph" infections). Nafcillin is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- nausea,
- pain at the injection site if this medication is injected into a muscle,
- vomiting,
- vaginal itching or discharge,
- or black or "hairy" tongue.
