Myobloc (botulinum toxin type b) is made from the bacteria that causes botulism and is used to treat cervical dystonia (severe spasms in the neck muscles). Botulinum toxin blocks nerve activity in the muscles, causing a temporary reduction in muscle activity.
The drug is often used to treat Dystonia .
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- lightheadedness,
- blurred vision,
- chest pain
- loss of bladder control,
- hoarse voice,
- drooping eyelids,
- double vision,
- trouble talking or swallowing,
- problems with vision, and
