Mumpsvax (mumps virus vaccine live) is an immunization used to help prevent mumps in children. Mumpsvax is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- easy bruising,
- unusual bleeding,
- fainting,
- weakness,
- seizures,
- extreme drowsiness,
- problems with hearing or vision,
- fussiness, irritability, or crying for over an hour or longer,
- high fever (within a few hours or days after the vaccine), and
- swelling of the testicles in a male child
