Multitrace - 5 Concentrate (trace elements) Injection contains five trace elements for use as a supplement to intravenous solutions given for Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), which helps maintain plasma levels of zinc, copper, manganese, selenium and chromium and to prevent depletion of stores of these trace elements and subsequent deficiency symptoms.
The following drugs are related to Multitrace 5 Concentrate, either as a replacement or used together:
- Prosol (amino acids injection, for intravenous use)
- Multrys (trace elements injection 4*, usp)
