Motegrity (prucalopride) is a serotonin-4 (5-HT4) receptor agonist indicated for the treatment of chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) in adults.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • thoughts of self-harm,
  • unusual changes in mood or behavior,
  • ongoing or worsening depression,
  • sadness, and
  • hopelessness
