Morrhuate Sodium Injection is a sclerosing agent used for the obliteration of primary varicosed veins that consist of simple dilation with competent valves. Morrhuate sodium injection is available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- headache
- drowsiness
- injection site reactions
- burning or cramping sensations
- blood clot in the lung (pulmonary embolism)
- severe allergic (anaphylactic) reactions, and
