Singulair (montelukast sodium)

type of Leukotriene Receptor Antagonists

Singulair (montelukast) is a leukotriene receptor antagonist drug used in the treatment of asthma and allergic rhinitis. Singulair is also indicated for prevention of exercise-induced narrowing of the airways.

The drug is often used to treat Allergic rhinitis , Asthma .

This drug may have the following side effects:

• fever,
• skin rash,
• numbness,
• swelling,
• sore throat,
• muscle weakness,
• pain,
• swelling in your face or tongue,
• burning in your eyes, and
• unusual changes in mood or behavior,
• warmth,
• ear pain,
• bruising,
• severe tingling,
