Sinuva (mometasone furoate) Sinus Implant is a corticosteroid-eluting (mometasone furoate) implant indicated for the treatment of nasal polyps in patients 18 years of age and older who have had ethmoid sinus surgery.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- hives,
- difficulty breathing,
- swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
- tiredness,
- vision problems,
- headache,
- wheezing,
- weight gain (especially in your face or your upper back and torso),
- slow wound healing,
- increased body hair,
- muscle weakness,
- depression,
- anxiety, and
- irregular menstrual periods,
- changes in sexual function,
- thinning skin,
- irritableness
- ear pain or full feeling,
- trouble hearing,
- drainage from the ear,
- severe bleeding or increased drainage from your nose,
- nose pain or discomfort,
- white patches or sores in the nose that won’t heal,
