Uniretic (moexipril hcl hydrochlorothiazide tablets)

Uniretic (moexipril HCl/hydrochlorothiazide) is a combination of an ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme) inhibitor and a thiazide diuretic used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Uniretic is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:
  • hives,
  • difficulty breathing,
  • swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
  • vomiting,
  • fever,
  • easy bruising,
  • unusual bleeding,
  • pale skin,
  • lightheadedness,
  • shortness of breath,
  • confusion,
  • chills,
  • chest pain,
  • vision problems,
  • fluttering in your chest,
  • weight gain,
  • swelling,
  • headache,
  • trouble swallowing,
  • sore throat,
  • little or no urination,
  • increased urination,
  • muscle weakness,
  • ill feeling,
  • mouth sores,
  • slow heart rate,
  • severe stomach pain,
  • pounding heartbeats,
  • slurred speech,
  • extreme thirst,
  • eye pain,
  • skin pain, and
  • sudden weakness,
  • burning in your eyes,
  • severe weakness,
  • loss of coordination,
  • feeling unsteady,
  • tingly feeling,
  • limp feeling,
  • weak pulse,
  • uneven heart rate,
  • leg discomfort,
