Univasc (moexipril)

Univasc (moexipril hydrochloride) is an ACE (angiotensin converting enzyme) inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Univasc is available in generic form.

This drug may have the following side effects:

• hives,
• difficulty breathing,
• swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat,
• nausea,
• lightheadedness,
• chills,
• weakness, and
• cough,
• sore throat,
• little or no urination,
• ill feeling,
• severe stomach pain,
• loss of movement
• sudden weakness,
• painful mouth sores,
• slow or unusual heart rate,
