Mirapex (pramipexole)
type of Antiparkinson Agents, Dopamine Agonists
Mirapex (pramipexole) is a dopamine agonist medication used to treat symptoms of Parkinson's disease, and restless legs syndrome.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- lightheadedness,
- unexplained muscle pain,
- hallucinations,
- extreme drowsiness,
- vision problems, and
- muscle tenderness or weakness,
- falling asleep suddenly, even after feeling alert,
- tremors, twitching or uncontrollable muscle movements,
- involuntary bending forward of your neck, waist or tilting sideways when you sit, stand or walk
