Mifeprex (mifepristone (ru486))
type of Antiprogestins, Cortisol Receptor Blockers
Mifeprex (mifepristone) is a synthetic steroid indicated for the medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy through 49 days of pregnancy. Mifeprex Tablets are available in generic form.
This drug may have the following side effects:
- vomiting,
- diarrhea,
- fast heartbeats,
- weakness, and
- severe or ongoing nausea,
- general ill feeling,
- a fever higher than 100.4 degrees (38 degrees C), lasting longer than 4 hours,
- severe pelvic pain or tenderness,
- no vaginal bleeding at all after taking Mifeprex RU486

- Hemabate (carboprost tromethamine)
- Prostin E2 (dinoprostone vaginal suppository)
- HyperRHO Mini-Dose (rho(d) immune globulin (human) intramuscular administration)
