Midazolam Hydrochloride Syrup is a benzodiazepine used in pediatric patients for sedation, to reduce anxiety, and to produce amnesia prior to diagnostic, therapeutic or endoscopic procedures or before induction of anesthesia. Midazolam hydrochloride syrup is available in generic form.
